Careers

Work where skills change lives.

Chitral Skills Academy is a small, focused team training learners for real work, not theory for its own sake. If you care about craft, dignity, and place, you may fit here as well as any big-city brand.

Life here

Environment & culture

We spend our days alongside learners in classrooms, workshops, and planning sessions. The pace can be intense before cohort launches, but the atmosphere is collaborative: people speak plainly, share resources, and celebrate when a student lands their first paid project or job.

  • Mission you can feel

Every role touches learners or the systems that support them. Feedback is honest, and small wins in the classroom matter more than internal theatre.

  • Small team, real trust

We are not a corporate tower. People take ownership, ask for help early, and prefer clarity over hierarchy for its own sake.

  • Grow with the work

You will stretch: new tools, new cohorts, new partners. We invest time in onboarding and peer learning so nobody is left guessing alone.

  • Grounded in Chitral

Roles are based here, with respect for local context, prayer times, and family life. We plan schedules thoughtfully instead of pretending we are elsewhere.

Working environment

What day-to-day actually looks like

  • Learner-centred routines. Schedules revolve around class blocks, office hours, and prep time, not endless internal meetings.
  • Tools you can trust. We standardise on clear platforms for files, comms, and attendance so handovers are simple when someone is away.
  • Peer support. Instructors and coordinators debrief regularly; nobody is expected to carry a difficult cohort alone.

On-site & hours

Roles listed here are based in Chitral. Hybrid or remote arrangements are exceptional and agreed case by case.

  • Typical hours

Office and teaching windows usually align with Mon–Sat, daytime PKT. Exact blocks depend on the programme calendar.

Process

How hiring works

We keep steps few and transparent. You always know what comes next.

  1. 01

    Introduce yourself

Send a short note and CV by email, or use our contact form. Tell us what draws you to CSA and what you have already built or taught.

  2. 02

    Conversation & fit

We usually meet in person or by call to explore experience, values, and how you work under real constraints: time, resources, mixed skill levels.

  3. 03

    Practical step & offer

Some roles include a short teaching or task sample. If we align, we agree terms clearly and onboard you with mentors and materials.

Fair treatment & dignity

We hire and support colleagues without discrimination on the basis of gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, or family status. Harassment is not tolerated. Our policies describe how we uphold human rights in practice, including modern slavery awareness.
